Etsy Milestone Giveaway

Well, 2020 sure threw us all a curve! When I wrote my last blog post, I   never would have imagined that a pandemic would result in a statewide stay at home order.

Spring craft shows were canceled. Craft stores are closed. I have plenty of yarn, but that one last bag of fiberfill I thought I had in my closet was a figment of my imagination. I had to order some online.

Since March 16, I've been staying home, organizing my yarns and patterns, finishing projects, updating Etsy listings, and listening to lots of audio books.

At first Etsy sales dropped off, with only one order in the first two weeks. Then two orders at the end of March helped me finish strong.

April started slowly, then I had a burst of orders at mid-month. That's when I decided to do a giveaway. Here are the details:

This is a Bingo board of projects and tasks. To enter, comment with which line, 1 -12, you think I will finish first. As a tiebreaker, guess how many boxes I will fill by the end of the month. You need to get your guesses in by midnight (EST) on April 30, and I'll   pick the winner May 1. You can enter three times...once on each platform...leaving a comment on this blog post, on the post on my Facebook Business Page and Instagram

The prize: you can pick either an octopus, a mini owl or a donut.

Now, some projects will fulfill multiple squares. For instance, if I made a pink striped turtle, finishing off the pink yarn in the process, that would fill three squares. If all three squares are still open, I will determine which one to fill in with the high tech "eeny, meenie, miney moe" technique.

Row 1 (far left, going down): finish off a yarn, Hatching Alien, Ballerina Kitty, stripes (any project made with stripes), pull from stash (when I retrieve yarn that is entered into my inventory and stored in totes throughout   the house)

Row 2: ear saver, finish restock item (replacing an item sold on Etsy or Facebook), Pink (anything using pink yarn), mermaid, Happy Pill.

Row 3: Purple, finish WIP, unicorn, dachshund, 1/2 hour on big project.

Row 4: Master's  blanket, pull from "stealth yarn", colorful chicken, hatching dino, baby bonnet

Definition of "Stealth Yarn"... When I was cleaning my stuff out of the college girl's room, I found several bags of yarn that didn't get put into inventory   yet... mostly because I had projects planned for them. Now that I have time for more projects, I'm   hoping to finally start those projects I have planned for these yarns!

Row 5 is the last column going down: cotton thread (which I use for bottle slings, washcloths, and scrubbies ), donut, Scrap yarn project, dinosaur, and flamingo.

Row 6 is the top line across, starting with "finish off a yarn"

Row 7 is the second line across, starting with "hatching alien"

Row 8 is the middle row across, starting with "ballerina kitty"

Row 9 is the second from the bottom row, starting with "stripes"

Row 10 is the bottom row, starting with "pull from stash"

Row 11 is the diagonal from bottom left to top right: pull from stash, mermaid, unicorn, pull from stealth, cotton thread.

Row 12 is the diagonal from bottom right to top  left: flamingo, hatching dino, unicorn, finish restock   item, finish off a yarn.

And the meter resets today for another milestone giveaway... which probably  won't be so complicated ! 😁

You can follow my Facebook page and Instagram posts to see what I'm finishing up...
Row 11 was the winner!
